To our Lebanese Community ❤️

Hi,

This is the longest in 10 years that I’ve stayed in my country Lebanon. While I’ve been really enjoying being home and remote working from the mountains, I’ve also been really saddened and hurt by all that is going on in the country from economic crisis to a worsening political situation.

Today we’ve decided that STEP will be offering our community of startup founders, entrepreneurs, and investors in Lebanon the chance to attend STEP Anywhere at local prices. This said, we will accept payment in L.L. or bankers cheque at the official currency exchange of L.L. 1,515 for all tickets and startup packages for STEP Anywhere.

We hope that with this we will give a chance to everyone in Lebanon to continue to get access to the tech and startup ecosystem in MENA and beyond.

The options to purchase your tickets if you are not able to directly via the online ticket shop will be to 1) Complete a Money Transfer through OMT in Lebanon at the official rate of LL 1,515 OR 2) by bankers cheque to STEP S.A.L. 

1. If you would like to buy a General Ticket (general tickets include regular tickets, investor tickets, and student tickets),

• Go to an OMT Location and let them know the country, the name, and phone number of the recipient (please find this below), and proceed with the money transfer. 
• Be sure to transfer the correct ticket amount based on the phases or ticket types displayed here. 
• OR If you would like to make the payment by banker’s cheque, please issue the cheque to STEP S.A.L. and coordinate the delivery with our local contact below.  

2. If you would like to redeem your Startup Package after you’ve been accepted, 

• An acceptance to participate as a Showcasing Startup means that you applied through the website here and have received an e-mail from Mira Betto, STEP Startup Manager, confirming that you have been shortlisted to showcase as a startup.
• Go to an OMT Location and let them know the country, the name, and phone number of the recipient (please find this below), and proceed with the money transfer. 
• Be sure to transfer the correct ticket amount based on the phases or ticket types displayed here or if you have received a special rate directly. 
• OR If you would like to make the payment by banker’s cheque, please issue the cheque to STEP S.A.L. and coordinate the delivery with our local contact below.

Once your transfer/delivery is completed, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Share your OMT transfer confirmation receipt to [email protected] as a screenshot and your MTCN tracking number OR copy of the delivered banker’s cheque. 

Step 2: You will receive a code which you will be able to use on the STEP online ticket shop to register your ticket which will be a confirmation of your access to the STEP event. 

Step 3: See you at the online event! You will then automatically receive all the news and updates for ticket holders.
