The STEP 2020 Startup Basecamp is going to be jam-packed with 300+ global showcasing startups leading on innovations across fintech, digitech, agritech, future tech and more.

1. STEP 2020 Startup Basecamp

Over 300 global startups will participate at STEP 2020’s Startup Basecamp across 4 conferences to showcase their products and services. Showcasing startups will get a chance to meet with regional investors and VCs, gather leads, and network with potential clients and partners

2. STARTUP NIGHT

For the second time in a row outside Germany, Startup Night Dubai will be held on February 11th at 5 pm at STEP 2020. The program is targeted at startups from six sectors, Transportation & Mobility, Aerospace, Energy efficiency, Medical & Health, ICT and Education. Tickets start at $10 to attend but STEP 2020 ticket holders get free access on a first come first serve basis.

3. Volkswagen Mobility Challenge Winner Announcement

STEP X Partner, Volkswagen, launched the Volkswagen Mobility Challenge 2.0 in October 2019 for UAE or KSA candidates that have an idea or early stage innovation aimed at changing the world of mobility. Out of the shortlisted candidates that entered the bootcamp, only 1 will be taking home the grand prize, who will it be? Join us at the winner reveal on Day 2 at STEP 2020! 

4. STEP 2020 Pitch Competition

Showcasing startups will be shortlisted to get the chance to participate at STEP’s flagship pitch competition to present their products and services to leading investors and industry experts. Make sure you don’t miss the live pitching at STEP Start, on the Main Stage!

5. STEP Camp hosted by Endeavor

A new introduction this year for startups beyond those showcasing is the STEP Camp program to support early-stage startups by providing highly curated, one-on-one mentoring sessions with successful Endeavor Entrepreneurs and mentors.

7. Dtec Tour

Dtec will be hosting a co-working space on event days and a selected number of people will be invited to go on a tour to check out their new campus!

8. Live Polling and 1 Minute Video

Our media partners, WAYA Media, will be doing a live polling on their platforms for the 3 shortlisted pitch competition startups and the winning startup will get a 1 minute produced video of their pitch worth over $1,000!
