Salman studied at McGill University and gained his professional experience at PwC where he obtained his CPA, CA designation. He then furthered his experience by taking on investment banking roles at Royal Bank of Canada and National Bank of Canada. In early 2019, Salman joined Sarmayacar to lead their investment function and with it made the move back to Pakistan.

Ayesha Saleem is an Associate at LIVC and a Special Advisor at the ESG Foundation. Prior to joining Lakson Investments, she was associated with NexDegree as a Data Analyst. She has completed her Masters from the London School of Economics with a distinction in Economics and Political Economy in 2019, and completed her undergraduate from the London School of Economics in 2018. She is also a board member for the Alumni Committee of the London School of Economics in Pakistan. Her areas of expertise include strategy, research, market analysis and economics.

I completed my undergraduate from the UK and then moved back to Pakistan. I joined Sarmayacar as an investment analyst right after and have been engaged in the VC space in Pakistan since then. Prior to joining Sarmayacar, I gained experience in research from the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives.

Hammad is leading Insitor Management’s efforts in Pakistan, where he is responsible for sourcing and managing the investment pipeline in the country. Prior to joining Insitor, Hammad was managing the equity investment portfolio at Karandaaz Pakistan, a DFID funded company promoting access to finance for Small and Medium Enterprises. He also worked for Acumen Pakistan and managed investments in the education, housing and microfinance sectors. Hammad brings with him 10-years of investing experience to Insitor, including as an investment banker at KASB (a local affiliate of Bank of America Merrill Lynch), where he worked on M&A, DCM, and corporate restructuring deals in a range of sectors. Hammad holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Economics from the University of London
